内容の概要 | This item is a propaganda leaflet titled "Japan has ceased fire". It states that the Japanese government has accepted the conditions proposed by the Allies and that on the 14 August 1945, by the order of the Emperor, the government ordered all the Japanese forces to cease fire. It points out that one of the conditions that the Emperor approved allowed Japanese soldiers to return home after disarmament. However, it required the soldiers to wait for the further notice from the Allied authorities since they are stationed across the Pacific and the repatriation may take a long time. |
