内容の概要 | This item is a diary written by FUKUI Kiyomasa, who was a comander of a light tank possibly in the 2nd Tank Division stationed in the Lingayen area, Luzon. The diary covers the period from 1 January to 3 Feburary 1945, and describes FUKUI's movements before and after the Allied landing campaign at the Lingayen Gulf. FUKUI, a young soldier eager to fight, describes the enemy's frequent air raids as "regular deliveries". On 1 February 1945 he was ordered to defend Lupao to the last.
