内容の概要 | This booklet consists of a propaganda cartoon that describes the miserable life of an imaginary Japanese soldier, UNGA Naizô (Mr No Luck) from his conscription to his death in action in China. It contrasts his misery with the comfortable life of soldiers working in the corrupt Special Service Organization, and concludes with three questions, "UNGA Naizô, did you really die for the Emperor?", "Who were they that should take away his life from his mother?", and "Who were they that should grind his life under their feet?" The booklet is accompanied by an English translation. |
