内容の概要 | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet includes the President Truman's statement issued on 8 May 1945. In the statement, the President makes it clear that the United States will continue her attacks until Japan accepts unconditional surrender. The statement stresses that the unconditional surrender of Japan means the end of the reign by the military leaders and the return of soldiers to their families. |
