| Content: | This item is a summary of instructions provided by the head of the special administrative affairs section of the 8th Area Army. The section consisted of the units which were the first to be repatriated. Members of the section were remained of the importance of their duties for the future of former servicemen and advised to maintain their morale. The section head admonished his subordinates to remember their experiences during the war and to strive for the rehabilitation of Japan after their repatriation. He also warned that they should not to be engaged in any act which might compromise the reputation of General IMAMURA or that of their fellow servicemen. |
