Content: This Japanese-language propaganda leaflet was produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office at the end of the Pacific War. An English translation of the text is attached. It states that Lieutenant General TESHIMA of the 2nd Japanese Army signed the formal document of surrender on 9 September on Morotai. Captain ÔYAMA and Captain TOYAMA also signed it as the representatives of the Navy. After the ceremony, General Blamey told Lieutenant General TESHIMA to carry out orders from himself or from his representatives without delay and all Allied personnel in Japanese hands are safeguarded and nourished and delivered to Allied Commanders.
