Content: This item is an album containing signatures of forty generals and admirals from the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy. Each leaf has a signature and the title in Japanese together with a corresponding romanaizaton of the name and title in English. Those who signed were top ranking officers engaged in the South Pacific campaign. This album seems to have been made for the purpose of identification of the officers under Allied captivity.
