Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 1st Class Private JA145064 of the unit, who was captured in Basa in the Buna area on 9 December 1942. JA145064, a 26 year old 1st Class Private from Ehime, was wounded and unarmed when he surrendered to Australian troops. During the interrogation, JA145064 provided information on morale and social conditions in Japan.
