Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. It is accompanied by an English translation of the text. It is dated on 17 June 1943. Events covered by this issue include the dissatisfaction among Japanese residents in China about the progress of the war, the funeral of Admiral YAMAMOTO, strategic errors concerning the campaign on Attu Island, the espionage case of Richard Sorge, the success of the Mitsubishi Group thanks to government subsidies, the decline of Germany and the approval of the additional expenditure of 650,000,000 yen at the 82nd session of the Diet. 40,000 of them were printed.
