JA145620, a 23 year old Superior Private from Gunma, was suffering from malaria and had bad legs and lagged behind his unit. Since he was a medical orderly, he also stayed with other sick soldiers. He was captured by Australian troops while his party was staying at a local village. During the interrogation, JA145620 provided information on his unit organisation, his movements, and medical treatment. |
