Content: | This is a so-called surrender leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An extra message is inserted on the front page of the leaflet so as to encourage members of the Sagara Guard Unit to come over to the Australian side. The message informs that the Australian forces stop firing for a moment at 9:00am every morning so that Japanese servicemen wishing to surrender can reach the Australian position in safety. |
