Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. It announces that the Soviet Union declared war upon Japan. 100,000 of them were printed. 16,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Lae on 9 August 1945, 12,000 to Morotai on 9 August 1945, 8,000 to Balikpapan on 11 August 1945, and 28,000 to Darwin on 11 August 1945. 24,000 of them were destroyed on 24 August 1945.
