Content: | This is an operational outline of the Kon Operation, which was to have taken place off Biak Island from the end of May 1944 to the beginning of June 1944. The Japanese Army tried to send the 2nd Sea Duty Brigade to Biak in order to attack the Allies, who had landed on the island at the end of May 1944. However, faced with aerial and naval attack, the operation was abandoned. |
