Content: This is a so-called surrender leaflet produced in numbers by the Far Eastern Liaison Office towards the end of the Pacific War. The message on the leaflet encourages Japanese soldiers to come over to the Allied Forces with a copy of the leaflet in hand. The message on the back of the leaflet stresses that the recipient should consider surrendering rather than dying uselessly so that he can contribute to the post-war reconstruction of Japan. The message blames blunders of the military leaders of Japan for the deteriorating war situation.
