Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Civilian Employee ÔNISHI Kô who was attached to the Tsukioka Unit. He was captured in Buna on 4 January 1943. ÔNISHI, a 23 year old Civilan Employee from Kôchi, was exhausted after living in the jungle, when he was captured by Australian troops. During the interrogation, ÔNISHI provided information on his duties as a civilian employee for repairing motor vehicles and loading and unloading trucks and supplies forBuna. |
