Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 1st Class Private M164 of the 66th Infantry Regiment 3rd Battalion 11th Company 1st Platoon 3rd Section, who was captured near Lae on 16 September 1943. M164, a 24 year old 1st Class Private from Tochigi, was captured by Australian troops while sheltering from the rain in acar. During the interrogation, M164 provided information on his unit organisation. His accounts on other aspects of the interview topics were limited.
