Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 1st Class Private JA147005 of the 53rd Infantry Regiment 4th Company 3rd Platoon 2nd Section, who was captured in Tuwali near Cape Cloucester on 30 December 1943. JA147005, a 30 year old 1st Class Private from Tottori, was severely wounded and unconscious when he was captured by US troops. During the interrogation, JA147005 provided information on his unit organisation, movements, emergency rations, and the situation in Rabaul.
