Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. Printed on the front page is a map indicating how the American forces have advanced, together with the title, "Is Japan next?". The message on the back reports that the Allied Forces are sending further reinforcements to the Asia-Pacific region after the end of the war in Europe and air raids on mainland Japan are continuing. It emphasises that the term "unconditional surrender" means the end of the war and the rule of militarists, but not the extermination of the Japanese people. |
