Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet urges Japanese troops to surrender as food, ammunition and medical supplies are becoming scarce. It informs that 5 officers and 37 soldiers surrendered at the village of Womgrer, near Maprik, and they are now recovering in Australia.
