Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Gona on 30 November 1942 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Range. This item is volume one of a printed book entitled "Military rules and regulations", compiled by the Secretariat of the Army Ministry, published on 27 May 1916, and amended to 10 August 1942. It contains the Act establishing the Army Air Force, the rules for establishing military training schools, and details of the Army Air Headquarters' functions.
