| Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147302 of the 141st Infantry Regiment 2nd Company, who was captured near Talasea on 29 March 1944. JA147302 was suffering from malaria when he was captured by US Marines. During the interrogation, JA147302 provided information on his movements in the South-West Pacific Area and unit organisation. He also gave brief information on the Osaka Military Arsenal where he worked for about two years in the early 1940s. |
