Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports the reinforced defence strength of Australia after the return of troops from Libya, successful air operations by Australia in New Guinea, problems with sea and road transport for the Japanese, and the defeats of the Axis nations in Europe, Russia and North Africa. There is also an article on Prime Minister TÔJÔ's visit to China. 51,000 of them were printed.
