General IMAMURA wants to improve communication between the groups so that repatriation can be organised efficiently. He also argues that the Indians are not civilians but assistant soldiers. He would like to express his views on the status of Indians at the earliest opportunity. The fight in the Tôma Group was not a sign of disloyalty to the Australians, but an internal matter. The officers were warned about their subordinates' behaviour.
