Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA145750 of the 80th Infantry Regiment, 1st Machine-gun Company, who was captured near Madang in mid-March 1944 by natives and turned over to Australian troops. During the interrogation, JA145750 provided information the age of volunteers entering the Japanese Navy and Army, and the casualties and damage caused by an Allied air attack on Madang in July 1943.
