Content: This item is a war diary recording the activities of the 39th Independent Motor Car Battalion stationed near Yuala. It contains orders and daily reports of unit activities, including vehicle maintenance, road maintenance, and the transport and distribution of munitions and supplies between Yuala and several other locations. It also records details of damages suffered from enemy attacks. There are also several maps and diagrams referring to transport activities. It was captured at Hansa Bay in July 1944.
