Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports the construction of a luxury hotel in Tokyo, the recent Cabinet reshuffle, the hopeless situation for the Axis in North Africa, defeats of the Japanese in Guadalcanal, New Ireland and New Guinea, difficulties in financing the war and the rice price. 20,000 of them were printed. Although the pamphlet was dated on the 3 May, it was acutally produced on 12 May.
