Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147161 of the 141st Infantry Regiment, 11th Company, who was captured near Kometto on 19 March 1944. JA147161, a Superior Private, was suffering from malaria when he was captured by natives and handed over to US troops. During the interrogation, JA147161 provided information on Japanese medical examinations (with particular regard to venereal disease), social conditions in Japan and aircraft production at the Nakajima Aircraft Company (including a sketch map). |
