Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147295, Superior Private of the 26th Field Supply Depot 1st Company, was captured near Kometto on 28 March 1944. JA147295 was separated from his unit owing to an injured foot when he was captured by US Marines. During the interrogation, JA147295 provided information on movements, unit organisation, Allied prisoners of war in Java, treatment of Javanese, Batavia, and air attacks in New Britain. |
