Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 2nd Class Petty Officer JA100038 of Yûgumo, who was captured near Kolombangara on 7 October 1943. JA100038, a 23 year old 2nd Class Petty Officer from Miyagi, was rescued from the sea by a US patrol torpedo boat after the sinking of Yûgumo. During the interrogation, JA100038 provided brief information on his unit, movements and Yûgumo. |
