Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Tuguegarao on 20 June 1945 during the Allied campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is a file containing information from the investigation undertaken by the Tuguegarao Military Police Section of important Filipinos and aliens in Cagayan and Isabela Provinces, including released Filipino prisoners of war who were American-Filipino Army officers and former members of Ganap. (The Ganap Party, formerly known as the Sakdal Party, was a Filipino political group openly sympathetic to the Japanese) This document also includes lists of Allies, Chinese and Spanish in Cagayan Province, the disposition and strength of Filipino police units, doctors residing in Cagayan Province and missionaries in Cagayan and Isabela Provinces. |
