Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured in the Salamaua area on 17 September 1943 during the Huon Peninsula campaigns and the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. This item contains four plans for combat training in jungle warfare, including offensive, ambush and anti-sniper tactics. It also contains tables of organisation and equipment used by labour units.
