|Content:||This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Gorari on 11 November 1942 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. The document is a reference manual on landing operations and contains detailed instructions on pre-arranged landing plans, the defence of convoys, executing landing operations in the tropics, the continuation of landing. This item also contains diagrams and charts on disembarkation procedures, duty rosters, and safety precautions.|
