Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Superior Airman JA145584 of the 751st Air Unit, who was captured at sea in Huon Gulf on September 1943. JA145584, a 20 year old Superior Airman from Yamagata, was rescued from the sea and captured by crew of a US destroyer after his plane was shot down. During the interrogation, JA145584 provided information on his unit organisation, movements, Japanese planes, and air campaigns. Diagrams of a torpedo and Japanese plane are attached.
