Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Superior Petty Officer JA100045 of Yûgumo, who was captured near Kolombangara on 7 October 1943. JA100045, a 25 year old Superior Petty Officer from Iwate, was drifting in the sea after the sinking of Yûgumo when he was rescued by a US boat. During the interrogation, JA100045 provided information on his movements, Yûgumo and its sinking, and torpedoes. |
