| Content: | This item is a collection of army rules and instructions issued to the Seoul Division. It contains various sets of printed rules and instructions concerning issues such as the number and type of personal belongings a soldier is permitted to take with him overseas, and instructions to be followed in the event of a military emergency. While some of the instructions are printed, others are typed, and are aimed specifically at the units in the Seoul Division. The book is stamped throughout by the Chief of Staff Headquarters for the Seoul Division, NAKAI Masutarô. At the back of the book are a few individual reports citing specific incidents, and lists of equipment and supplies. This item was captured at Sio in June 1944. |
