| Content: | This item is a service record for a Sergeant SHINOHARA Kôichirô from the 26th Airfield Company, dating from his recruitment to the North China Area Army in 1940. It contains detailed information and comments from superior officers on Sergeant SHINOHARA's progress, appearance, aptitude and general behaviour, as well as marks for his achievements in training subjects such as weapons drill and mechanics. The extremely positive evaluation of Sergeant SHINOHARA was probably a factor in his promotion and transfer to the 8th Aviation Education Unit in November 1942. This item was captured at Korako in April 1944, and is part of a folder of similar items in this collection. |
