| Content: | This item is a set of orders issued to the 8th Independent Engineer Regiment concerning the construction of an airfield at Alexishafen. Delays in construction due to bad weather and enemy attacks have necessitated a change of plan, and troops from the 39th Independent Motor Car Battalion are ordered to provide backup support and transport duties from the 27th Field Storage Depot at Mugil. The orders also refer to troop deployment and transport/guard duties in the Mugil area. This item was captured at Hansa Bay in July 1944. |
