| Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 1st Class Private JA147080 of the 65th Brigade Field Engineer Force, who was captured in Iboki about 60km east of Kokopo on 23 February 1944. JA147080, a 34 year old 1st Class Private from Hiroshima, surrendered to US troops. During the interrogation, JA147080 provided information on his unit's movement on the northern coast of New Britain. Information on Hiro Naval Arsenals Airplane Factory in Kure where he used to work was included in the report. |
