|Content:||This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Leading Seaman YOKOYAMA Yasuo of the Matsukawa Unit, Sasebo Special Naval Landing Party, who was captured in Buna on 14 March 1943. YOKOYAMA, a 22 year old Leading Seaman from Miyazaki, was captured by US troops after he landed in the Buna area and hid in the jungle. During the interrogation, YOKOYAMA provided detailed information on Terutsuki which was sunk on 11 December 1942. Diagrams of internal facilities including an ammunition hoist and turret and sectional elevation are attached.|
