Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Superior Private JA145634 of the 66th Infantry Regiment 1st Battalion Machine-gun Company 4th Platoon 7th Section, who was captured in Bainduang, which is near Camp Diddy, on 23 October 1943. JA145634, a 27 year old Superior Private from Tochigi, was very weak with malaria and beri beri when he was captured by Australian troops. He was a machine-gunner. During the interrogation, JA145634 provided information on the unit organisation, his movements, mines and machine-guns, and morale.
