Content: This item is a collection of 1943 service records for approximately 50 Able Seamen attached to the 3rd Division at the Kure Naval Base. Each record provides detailed personal information about the soldier in question, including his address, immediate family particulars, religion, education and/or pre-recruitment occupation, and the date he was conscripted. The records also list post-recruitment information such as dates of promotion. This item was captured at Jivevaneng in October 1943.
