Content: This item is a set of draft notes for an official diary for the month of March (probably in 1944), recording the movements of an unnamed transport unit in the Madang district of the New Guinea coastline. It records the movement of the unit from Madang towards Mugil Bay as it retreats from enemy bombardment, and contains daily orders and reports concerning troop organisation and responsibilities, as well as small area maps with instructions for troop formation and movement. It was captured at Hansa Bay in July 1944.
