Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Kamiri on Noemfoor Island on 8 July 1944 during the Allied attacks on Japanese positions in northern Dutch New Guinea, which were intended to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item is a manual entitled "Firing instructions for anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defense of ships", issued on 15 May 1942 by the Inspectorate of Artillery Troops.
