Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Cape Gloucester on 26 December 1943 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. This item is a manual issued by Staff Headquarters Shipping Bureau in January 1941 on the construction, specifications, armaments and capacity of various landing craft, high speed boats, armoured boats and other small craft. It also contains charts on the time required for disembarkation and the major landing campaigns in China between July 1937 and November 1939. |
