Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147326, a Corporal with the 81st Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion Headquarters, who was captured by US marines near Talasea on 8 April 1944. JA147326 provided information on the organisation and movement of the 81st Infantry Regiment, Indonesian prisoners of war in Rabaul in November 1943, the sinking of Awata Maru on 21 October 1943 and an air raid on AP Gokoku Maru on 10 November 1943.
