Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Leading Aircraftman SAKAGAWA Bun of the 705th Air Corps 5th Unit, who was captured on Fergusson Island on 15 April 1943 by Australian troops when his plane was shot down during a mission to Milne Bay. SAKAGAWA was a 20 year old Leading Aircraftman from Fukui. During the interrogation, SAKAGAWA initially tried to make up stories.
