Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Hollandia (Jayapura) on 16 May 1944 during the Allied attacks on Japanese positions in northern Dutch New Guinea, which were intended to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item is an intelligence report entitled "Notes on anti-submarine warfare", by the 7th Flying Division and issued by 26th Special Base Headquarters on 15 March 1944.
