Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda news bulletin produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. Events covered by this issue are the bombing of Tokyo on 25 February 1945, the imminent fall of Iwojima, the occupation of Manila by the American forces, the capture of Burmese silver and lead mines by the Chinese forces, the Allied offensives launched in Germany and the fall of Breslau. 120,000 of them were printed. 15,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Hollandia on 3 March 1945, and 30,000 to Morotai on 7 March 1945. |
