Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Sergeant KASAHARA Hiroshi of the 41st Infantry Regiment 1st Battalion 3rd Company 1st Platoon 2nd Section, who was captured in the Kumusi River area on 7 January1943. KASAHARA, a 27 year old Sergeant from Hiroshima, was captured by local people while his group was gathering potatoes in the field. He was the section leader. During the interrogation, KASAHARA provided information on unit movements, organisation, weapons, and morale in Japan. He provided the pay scale from 2nd Class Private to Sergeant included in the report.
