|Content:||This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. It is dated on 11 December 1944. The leaflet reports a new landing at Ipil on Leyte by the Allied Force, the air raid on Iwojima by B-29s on 8 December 1944 and other successful operations by B-29s. It also mentions the earthquake on 7 December in Japan and the movement of the Russian forces near Austria. 100,000 of them were printed. 21,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Hollandia on 26 December 1944, 53,000 to Darwin on 26 December 1944, and 30,000 to Morotai on 26 December 1944.|
